TEACH OUR CURRICULUM

SPREAD THE WORD

You do not have to be a trained Bowen instructor to teach our curriculum. You simply need to be an experienced Bowen practitioner. We do not require you to sever any affiliations with Bowen schools in order to teach the Family Care curriculum.

We offer the guidance and materials to enable all experienced practitioners to spread knowledge of Bowen to the families of the world.

We do not regulate whether you charge for teaching the classes. You may price them as you feel appropriate, or offer them for free in the spirit of community service.

We trust you will consider the needs of your area, your circumstances and your qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS

Completion of the core curriculum of any Bowen training, as shown by your certificate or transcript. If you no longer have your paperwork, you may submit a link to your online listing with a school, or submit written confirmation by your instructor.

Completion of an ethics course specific to the field of bodywork. It is important to familiarize yourself with these specific concepts:

  • Dual relationships

  • Power imbalance inherent in teaching

  • Scope of practice (what can and cannot be addressed even if you are asked for advice)
